About the event
The Discover GP conferences 2020 are specifically tailored for medical students and foundation doctors to showcase the exciting, dynamic and rewarding career that is general practice.
The conference series will explore the role of GPs as changemakers in the 21st century through four key themes which are particularly pertinent to the world of general practice as it stands in 2020:
- Social and health inequalities - Climate change and the environment - Social prescribing and alternate modes of care - Technology and the future of general practice
Join us in Dundee where we will focus on social and health inequalities in relation to general practice through a varied programme of interactive skill-based sessions including consultation skills, practical guidance on career pathways and available opportunities, and interact with several high-profile GPs on topics spanning social prescribing, research in general practice, and the exciting opportunities in partnership.
